Gailda Davis and Carolyn StefancoThe College of Saint Rose is proud to announce that President Carolyn J. Stefanco has been appointed to the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network Executive Council (WNEC). President Stefanco is one of only 15 members of the WNEC. Her three-year term, which began in July 2019, will run through June 2022.

“I am thrilled to assist ACE in the organization’s ongoing efforts to support and advance women in higher education leadership, both in the Northeast and across the country,” said Stefanco. “As a long-time member of ACE, I am proud to give back to an organization that has been so helpful to me over the course of my professional career.”

“We are incredibly excited for President Stefanco to join the ACE Women’s Network Executive Council,” said Gailda Davis, ACE Director of Professional Learning and liaison to the WNEC. “Her commitment to advancing women’s leadership is perfectly aligned with and supportive of our mission to develop, encourage, and support women in higher education careers. With President Stefanco’s help, we will continue to strengthen women’s networks across the country.”

The ACE Women’s Network Executive Council supports state networks through mentorship, leadership development, and as a liaison between the network and the American Council on Education. The Council advises ACE on issues pertaining to the overall functioning of the ACE Women’s Network and women’s leadership needs in higher education. Members also serve as speakers and facilitators at ACE and state network events.
