Stefanco has served as a member of the board since 2016

Saint Rose President Carolyn J. StefancoThe College of Saint Rose is proud to announce that President Carolyn J. Stefanco has been named chair of the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) Board of Trustees. President Stefanco has served as a member of the AUBG Board since 2016.

“It is a great honor to be elected chair of the AUBG Board, and to play a leadership role for this fine academic institution,” said President Stefanco. “I look forward to partnering with Interim President David Evans and the trustees to realize the strategic goals of AUBG. As the Board Chair, I will be pleased to serve as an ambassador for the university, and to continue our efforts to develop best practices in university governance.”

“I am excited to welcome Dr. Stefanco as the new chair of the AUBG board,” said U.S. Ambassador to Bulgaria Eric S. Rubin. “Dr. Stefanco will undoubtedly help AUBG continue to build on its quarter-century legacy of success and take the university to even greater heights. AUBG is a crown jewel in the American presence in Bulgaria and in the American-Bulgarian relationship.”
