“The Influence of Legal Knowledge on Retaliation” by Abigail Koller ’17, Madison Taylor ’18, Olivia Harmon ’19, Karissa Birthwright ’19, and Alex Myers ’20, was selected for a Psi Chi International Honor Society Research Award. The students behind that presentation will be recognized at a special awards banquet at the meeting and will receive a $400 research award. The faculty member working with them was Dr. Katlyn Farnum.

Continuing the strong tradition of student research at Saint Rose, a dozen students will present projects at the Eastern Psychological Association meeting in Philadelphia this March.

The Department of Psychology will have 12 students presenting the results of nine research projects. In addition, one of the student research presentations – “The Influence of Legal Knowledge on Retaliation” – was selected for a Psi Chi International Honor Society Research Award. The five students behind that presentation will be recognized at a special awards banquet at the meeting and will receive a $400 research award. The awards are highly competitive with both undergraduate and graduate students vying for the same recognition.

Saint Rose has won 28 awards from the Eastern Psychological Association for projects since 2004.
