ALBANY (May 20, 2016) — The Esther Massry Gallery at The College of Saint Rose presents an exhibition of varied media by the artists and educators who serve on the Saint Rose art and design faculty.

“The Art and Design Faculty Show” opens Friday, June 3, with a reception from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the gallery, located in the Massry Center for the Arts, 1002 Madison Ave., Albany, New York. The exhibit will continue on view through Tuesday, July 31. Summer hours in June are: Monday through Friday, noon–5 p.m., Sunday noon–4 p.m. Summer hours in July are: Monday through Friday, noon–5 p.m., closed Sunday and July 4. The gallery will close for August and re-open Friday, September 9. In addition, the gallery will be open 1st Fridays, June 3 and September 2, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.

The exhibition will present works by the 19 artists/faculty who serve the College’s art majors: Ann Breaznell, Anne Hobday, Chris St. Cyr and Jessica Loy, graphic design; Jeanne Flanagan, gallery director; Scott Brodie and Ben Schwab, drawing and painting; Kris Corso Tolmie, printmaking; Paul Mauren, sculpture; Rob O’Neil and Tom Santelli, photography; Gina Occhiogrosso and Susan Meyer, foundations. Additional faculty include Brian Cirmo, Chris De Marco, Abraham Ferraro, Monica Hughes, Marian Sullivan Chilson and photo technician Eamonn McBride.

The art department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and offers bachelor of fine arts and bachelor of science degree programs.
