“Reach-Up Saint Rose,” an inspirational talent show and silent auction, will be presented by the students of the Intro to Social Work, Self-Awareness and Social Relations class (SWK 114) Saturday, April 2, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Saint Joseph Hall Auditorium, 985 Madison Ave., Albany, New York.

Enjoy performances by The Golden Notes and The Arbor Hill Starlites, poetry and more.  At the silent auction, bid to win two one-day passes to The Great Escape, a Canon DSLR camera, a five-foot teddy bear and other exciting items.

“Reach-Up Saint Rose” is a service-based learning experience that uses the organization of a class project as a prop for understanding and applying course content while raising funds for two organizations that serve the needs of low-income and poor individuals in the Capital Region.

All proceeds will benefit the Moving Message Fund, which helps support speech therapy sessions for people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, and United Tenants of Albany, which works to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless.

Purchase tickets at the door; children under 12 are free.
