Rose Record Label GroupALBANY (February 8, 2016) — On Friday, February 12, Rose Record Label Group will host a record release at The College of Saint Rose, in the Hearst Center for Communications and Interactive Media. This event will celebrate the release of the label’s first compilation album, Rose Roots: Volume I, which will feature their current and legacy artists.

The event is open to the public.  Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

“Everyone in Rose Record Label Group has been working diligently to create a compilation of tracks that all listeners will enjoy. We are so excited to finally share this album at our release party!” said Stacia Burns, president of Rose Record Label Group

The event will include live performances from current Rose Record Label artists and songwriters, a play-through of the new album, a music video premiere and light food. Raffle tickets, Rose Record Label t-shirts and the compilation CD will be available for sale.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists, the entire team behind Rose Record Label Group and many faculty from The College of Saint Rose.

Rose Record Label Group February 2015 Launch

Rose Record Label Group is run by the music industry students at The College of Saint Rose and began to take shape in the fall of 2014. Last February, the record label had its official launch party, also at the Hearst Center, and showcased the songwriters and newly signed artists.
