Transfer Advisement Days

Transfer Advisement DayTransfer Advisement Days are days set up by the Office of Academic Advising to meet with, provide information to, and register transfer students for upcoming semesters. It is also a time for transfer students to become more acclimated to the campus and to learn about the various offices and social opportunites avaialbe to you on campus.

Transfer Advisement is a day-long event; students should plan to be on campus the entire time. Activities include a brief welcome from Academic Advising, the Academic Support Center, and the College's Provost. Afterwards, students will take the math placement, have an orientation session and an opportunity for a campus tour. After a break for lunch, and a campus resources presentation, each student will have a thirty-minute appointment with an advisor from their major area of study. Students will register for classes after their appointments, and may also get their College I.D. cards.

For students who are admitted for the fall semester, Transfer Advisement Days are usually scheduled in April, May, June and August. For students admitted for the spring semester, Transfer Advisement Days are usually scheduled in December and January.
