Facts to Consider

-The number of occupations that typically require a master’s degree is expected to rise 20% between 2006 and 2016

-2009 Census Bureau data found that median salaries of those with a master’s degree is $8000 higher than those with only a bachelor’s degree

-2009 Census Bureau data found that the unemployment rate of students with only a bachelor’s degree is markedly higher than those with a master’s degree

Graduate Study at Saint Rose

The Saint Rose Career Center conducted a survey of 2009 graduates. They found the following:

-93% of those responding have found employment in their desired, or a related, field

-80% of students looking for employment, were employed in less than a year after graduation

-93% indicated that, if given the choice, they would attend Saint Rose again

-In 2011, 48% of Saint Rose graduate students studied part-time, while 52% studied full-time
