This is a step by step process for current students. If you are a new student take note of the process for your particular entry term.

1. Using your FSA ID from the U.S. Department of Education complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to include The College of Saint Rose school code–002705.
Note: You should wait to file the FAFSA until both student and parent(s) taxes have been filed with the IRS.

2. New York State residents must complete the Express TAP application (ETA) online immediately following submission of the FAFSA. Be sure to include The College of Saint Rose school code–0140.

3. View and accept your financial aid on The College of Saint Rose secure site. Returning student financial aid packages are sent after May 1.

4. If your FAFSA is selected in a process called, “verification”, submit signed copies of student and parent(s) IRS tax return transcripts, along with a completed Verification Worksheet to the Office of Financial Aid.
Note: You will not receive your financial aid package until verification requirements are complete.

In order to remain eligible for financial aid, returning students will need to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
