A COMMUNITY OF EXCELLENCE

Each spring, the College celebrates an event to raise funds for the scholarship program.  A Community of Excellence honors those who share The College of Saint Rose’s vision, values, and belief in the engagement and revitalization of our urban environment. An urban campus in the heart of the state capital provides Saint Rose with a unique opportunity and a special obligation to make certain that our urban character is connected to our mission of teaching and service. Honorees may be members of government, human services, philanthropies, educational agencies, or other ventures that have made notable contributions to the urban environment.

The luncheon originated in 2005, and over the years has raised more than $375,000 to benefit the students at Saint Rose. This year’s luncheon raised more than $100,000. It takes place every spring semester, and welcomes more than 400 corporate sponsors, Honorary Committee members and attendees who gather to celebrate the accomplishments of our honorees and raise funds for the Saint Rose Scholarship Fund.
