The CSD Student Travel and Research (STAR) Fund

The CSD Student Travel and Research (STAR) Fund provides financial support to graduate and undergraduate students who are majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and whose research has been accepted for presentation at regional, state, national, and/or international conferences. It assists these exemplary students by reducing the costs of travel and registration which might otherwise be prohibitive, allowing them to attend conferences and share their scholarly work.

This fund not only provides important educational opportunities to individual students, but extends the mission and values of The College of Saint Rose across the country. The financial support of College alumni, friends, students, and faculty in establishing and maintaining this fund is an invaluable service to the future of the profession of speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and the clients we serve.

Students interested in applying for STAR Fund support should review the Guidelines and then complete the application, returning it to the Chair of the STAR Fund Committee, Megan Overby, PhD. Please note that application deadlines are 45 days before the conference/convention presentation is made.
