Literature. Writing. Drama. Film.

You can put literature/theory, creative/expository writing, drama/performance, and film/new media together in the English program at The College of Saint Rose while you work toward a B.A. in English or English-Adolescence Education or an M.A. in English.

We encourage you to use this website to find out more about our B.A. and M.A. programs; our minors in dramawritingfilm and new media, or literature; and the events and other opportunities we offer, such as our Visiting Scholars lectures and Frequency North readings. Our faculty are scholars, writers, and performers who love to teach and will work with you in small, discussion-based classes and department-sponsored events. We not only know that you will love what you study, but also that you will be ready for a wide range of careers when you complete your English study.
