Orientation

The Call to Leadership Program begins with an orientation, featuring dinner and a guest speaker. Program participants meet faculty after dinner and receive their textbooks, course syllabi, and first assignments.

Mentoring

Each district will provide aspiring school leaders from their district with a mentor. The mentor will provide a two-day shadowing experience, thus permitting the candidates to receive an opportunity to observe first hand the day-to-day experiences of a school administrator and to make an informed decision about continuing their studies in educational leadership. The shadowing experience is completed early in the program, during the first six credits.
