STANYS Science Congress

The STANYS State Science Congress is an opportunity for students from junior high and high schools across New York State to present their original science research to judges, community observers, and their peers. Outstanding projects from a number of regional science fairs are selected to continue on to the state level event, hosted at The College of Saint Rose since 2007. The friendly competition is part of a whole weekend of activities, allowing some of the best and brightest young scientists in New York to meet and socialize with other students who share similar interests. Students are recognized for their hard work at an Awards Banquet, and the students with the most outstanding projects are awarded prizes of up to $1000 and gold, silver, and bronze medals. More information about the STANYS State Science Congress can be found at http://www.stanys.org/aboutscicon.htm.

Unfortunately, this year's State Science Congress has been cancelled. Check back for updates about the 2013 State Science Congress!
