ESTHER MASSRY GALLERY

MISSION STATEMENT

The Esther Massry Gallery exhibits significant and challenging contemporary art. As a Teaching Gallery, it is the curricular cornerstone for all three art programs: Art Education, Graphic Design and Studio Art. The Gallery encourages understanding of art through innovative education programs, critical thinking and dialogue. It supports active learning and involvement with changing concepts and visual forms relevant to contemporary society. Additionally, it serves an engaged urban campus by expanding the setting for educational opportunities while providing a vital cultural resource for the community. The Esther Massry Gallery is a leader in promoting academic excellence and freedom of expression.
