Michael's assistant Hamish Smyth traveled up to Albany from New York City to help with the installation. He also met with our graphic design students to offer some insights into his work and experience. Hamish won a design competition sponsored by Pentagram Design and traveled from his home in Australia for an internship opportunity which led to a job with Michael Bierut!
