Golden Knights Intramural Sports Program
The intramural sports program at Saint Rose offers a variety of
organized recreational activities. The goals of the program all
center and focus on the student's maximum social, physical, mental
and emotional benefit. Intramural activities shall take place in
a positive, safe environment in which fun and enjoyment are the
key elements.
The specific purposes of the Intramural Sports Program are:
- To provide recreational activities that meets the needs of the
entire student population at The College of Saint Rose.
- To offer enjoyable outlets through a variety of athletic offerings
that encourages fun and competition, while contributing to the
well-being of participants.
- To offer students a way to participate in competitive and fun
events, while enhancing their experience at Saint Rose.
The particular sports and/or activities offered depend greatly
on student interest, but are also affected by such factors as the
weather, facility availability, and the demands of the College in
general. Within these parameters, the Office of the Intramural Director
is always open to requests, comments, and suggestions.
The overall goal of the intramural sports program is participation
by as many students as possible. There are sports and activities
for you regardless of your level of ability. We hope you choose
to participate and have plenty of fun while meeting others, and
enjoying a competitive, safe environment.
