Jeff Kavosick, C.A.E.M.
Equipment Manager


Jeff Kavosick joined the Golden Knights' athletics program before the 2004-05 academic year to assume the position of Equipment Manager. Now in his fourth year at Saint Rose, he oversees all aspects of the equipment room and supervises student assistants and game day staff.

Kavosick coordinates and assists in the setup and maintenance at each of the College's athletic venues. Furthermore, Kavosick manages all athletics equipment and laundry room operations, which includes the repair, replacement and re-certification of clothing and equipment. He is also in charge of coordinating the school's purchasing and receiving orders.

Kavosick arrived at Saint Rose from Red Mountain High School in Mesa, AZ where he served as the athletics equipment manager at the school for three years beginning in the fall of 2001. He oversaw all aspects of the equipment and laundry room while assisting in event set up.

Prior to that, Kavosick worked as the athletics equipment manager at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ during the 2000-01 school year. He managed all aspects of the equipment and laundry room for the Lumberjacks. Kavosick also worked for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League during their summer camp as an intern, assisting with the equipment room set-up and a variety of other assigned duties.

Kavosick worked as the equipment manager at North Canyon High School in Phoenix on two separate occasions, from 1993-98 and the 1999-00 season. Between stints at North Canyon, Kavosick was at Phoenix College for the 1998-99 school year. Meanwhile, he began his career in the field as the first equipment manager at Chandler High School in Chandler, AZ; a position he held from 1985-93.

Kavosick is a certified athletics equipment manager and is a member of the Athletics Equipment Managers Association. Throughout his career, Kavosick has served as a guest speaker at various youth and high school sports camps. He earned the District #9 Athletics Equipment Manager of the Year Award in 1999 and had been the District Secretary from 1997 through his arrival at Saint Rose. He also served as the District Newsletter Chairperson from 2000-01.
