The College currently enrolls students from more than 25 countries

International Student Admission
Requirements
- Completion of undergraduate
application
and essay (If you would like to provide the Admission Committee
with a deeper understanding of who you are as a person, please
feel free to submit your application essay using one of the topics
on the application or submit a paper or creative work graded by
a teacher. If you feel your academic record stands on its own,
you are not required to submit an essay.)
You may use the the online
Essay Form to submit your essay by and simply copying and
pasting your work into the form.
- International students must be able to read, write and speak
English well enough to successfully complete coursework. International
students or students whose native or educational language is not
English must present evidence of proficiency in oral and written
English by obtaining satisfactory scores on the TOEFL (Test of
English as a Foreign Language) administered through the Educational
Testing Service, Princeton, N.J. 08540 (TOEFL phone #:
609-771-7760) or submit your ACT or SAT scores.
- International students are also required to present a statement
of financial support signed by the person or persons responsible
for paying all college expenses. The College will execute an I-20
form (certificate of eligibility for a student visa) for an international
student after the student has met all admission requirements and
has submitted their enrollment deposit.
- Students are also required to submit an official evaluation
of transfer credit processed through World
Education Services (WES) if they have been educated outside
of the U.S..
- Students on F-1 visas must maintain a full-time course load
and may not enroll as part-time students.
- Copy of current visas and I-20s are required.
- Within the application process, students will be
required to submit:
Copy of driver's license (if applicable)
Statement of purpose of their visit to the U.S.
Copy of their passport
Copy of current I-20 or other such documentation
(if applicable)

All international applicants must submit proof of their
ability to meet all educational and living expenses before The College
of Saint Rose can issue a Certificate of Visa Eligibility (Form
I-20).
Health Certificate and Insurance
Upon notification of acceptance, international students should
submit a health certificate completed by a licensed physician on
the form provided by the College. The College requires that all
international students possess health insurance. Students will automatically
be placed on the International Student Plan. Charges will be added
to the student's tuition bill.
