Advanced Placement Exams/University
in High School
The College encourages the use of Advanced Placement Exams or UHS
and grants credit toward graduation.
Partners in Education (PIE)
Through this program, area high school students may combine some
college work during the senior year of high school. Courses available
to PIE students are a variety of the lower-division courses. Students
interested in this program should consult their high school guidance
office and the Admissions
Office.
Early Matriculation
The College selects a group of exceptional high school students
to enter college after their third year of high school. Students
admitted to the program should be academically and socially mature
enough to gain from this unique experience, and it is for this reason
that standards are high. Application forms and information are available
by contacting the Admissions
Office.
These programs have limited spaces available
and are highly selective.
HEOP/ACCESS
Freshman applicants may be eligible for the Higher
Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) for economically and academically
disadvantaged students or the Academic Commitment and Educational
Supportive Services ACCESS program for academically underprepared
students.
