About Distance Delivery Education
Courses for Teachers
Our Standards of Education
The College of Saint Rose has a highly regarded Teacher Education program. Our School of Education produces the area's best teachers, and now our courses are available to teachers in the New York metro area, in our Distance Delivery Program. All Distance Delivery courses are listed in The College of Saint Rose Graduate Catalog, and are approved by our Teacher Education department. Instructors must meet the same high standards as those teaching courses on campus, and are periodically observed to ensure that excellent standards are maintained.

Classes meet in locations throughout the NYC metro area, including Long Island and Westchester County. We even have courses further north along the Hudson and in western New York State, so check brochures published by our affiliates (CITE, NYSUT, TEI). There may be a class starting right now near you.

Choices
With over 75 different courses available through our Distance Delivery Program, your options for graduate study are plentiful and varied. From Literacy to Special Education to Technology, The College of Saint Rose has a class that is right for you and your career goals. We add new courses to the program each year, bringing teachers the latest topics in Education.

Online Courses
The Distance Delivery Program also offers teachers the convenience of taking courses online. Check brochures of our affiliates to find out which online courses might be right for you.

How to Get Started
All courses in the Distance Delivery Program are scheduled by one of our three affiliates. They publish brochures listing courses, times, and locations of College of Saint Rose courses. Visit the affiliates page for phone numbers.

Once you have found a course that meets your needs, contact the affiliate office which manages that course for The College. The affiliate will sign you up for classes and guide you through the process for getting registered with The College of Saint Rose. Registration with The College of Saint Rose usually happens after you fill out a registration form on the first day of class. Keep in mind that "registering" with an affiliate office is not the same as registering with The College of Saint Rose. Enrollment at The College depends on our receipt of registration forms from the affiliate office or instructor.

Tuition for Distance Delivery courses is paid to the affiliate office managing the course for us. The College of Saint Rose has nothing to do with your payment processes, and does not maintain Bursar accounts for students in the Distance Delivery Program.
