Music Department
When you walk into the
Saint Rose Music Building, you will likely hear vocalists
warming up in the Saints and Sinners Sound Studio or sounds
of our jazz band jamming in a classroom. But there are other,
more distinct sounds that you will notice as well—sounds
that set the Saint Rose Music Department apart. Since it is
rare to have more than a dozen students in a music class,
our highly experienced and talented professors know our music
students by name, enabling them to give each student individual
attention. Our music students all know each other and the
small size of our programs creates a spirit of positive competitiveness
in which students help each other become the best musicians
possible. .
