When students complete a program that complies
with the New York State teacher certification requirements
The College of Saint Rose may recommend them to the NYS Education Department
for certification. This recommendation does not guarantee that certification
will be granted, because applicants must also have proof of qualifying
NYSTCE scores and fingerprint clearance on file with the State Education
Department before the certificate may be issued.
