At Saint Rose, we believe the door of education should be opened
to all qualified applicants. Historically, we have fulfilled
the dreams of many students enabling them to experience a private,
values-based college education. Today more than 90 percent of
Saint Rose students receive some form of financial assistance
derived from endowed scholarships.
Benjamin Franklin once said, "An investment in knowledge
always pays the best interest." The College is committed
to assuring that all qualified students, regardless of financial
need, will be able to benefit from an outstanding education
marked by the Saint Rose difference.
-
Endowments will endure as long as The College
of Saint Rose exists.
- Through endowment funding, donors are able
to advance causes they value.
- By endowing a specific program, donors have
an explicit and long-term impact on the quality
of education the College provides.
- You may choose to name your endowed scholarship fund for yourself
or in honor or memory of someone else. This fund will endure for
years to come.
- Your generosity will encourage others to provide endowment support
and/or support other
projects in the Campaign.

Impact
The College will become more competitive in attracting academically
gifted students through merit-based scholarships.
An increase in endowment funds will free up operating funds
for academic programming and other institutional needs.
A Significant
Investment
Special gift arrangements may be structured according to your
needs and wishes.
Gifts are tax deductible and may be paid over
three to five years or by a special arrangement.
An Enduring Partnership
The College of Saint Rose, its Board, President R. Mark Sullivan,
and volunteers are deeply grateful for your willingness to partner
with us in this important undertaking.

Shaping our future destiny
as a nation means facing the sober calculation that the cost of
higher education is quickly outpacing the ability for many Americans
to pay for it. The
experience of a private liberal arts education built on a foundation
of values cannot
be limited to only a few. Rather, we must expand opportunity
to all qualified students so
that they can experience the Saint Rose Difference.
We truly cannot afford to do
any less.
