Involvement with LoveSAM Program (Supported by General Electric, Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce, and the New York State Senate)
During August, 2007, Saint Rose faculty carried out a week-long training retreat for the year's new class of LoveSAM teachers. The retreat was held in Lake Placid, NY, and provided an opportunity for the new teachers to attend refreshers on math and science content and to learn new hands-on techniques for teaching young students.
