Teaching is an art and a practice.

But it is also a scholarly eneavor that requires ongoing research into the changing nature of our fields, our students, and our worlds.  How do we turn the classroom into a space where we think/write/talk about the questions that matter most?

Please join us for Provisions, a series of lunchtime sessions dedicated to exploring the theory and practice of lteacing and learning throughout the disciplines.

2007-2008 Schedule

• Wednesday: 11/14 - Teaching Proactively to Prevent Plagiarism
• Tuesday: 1/29 - Teaching (with/about) Disabilities
• Wednesday: 2/27 - Teaching Problem/Inquiry Based Learning
• Tuesday: 4/1 - Teaching Activism---Bridging Classroom and Community Experiences

All sessions will be held from 11:15-12:30 p.m. at The College of Saint Rose Events and Athletics Center, Standish Conference Room 2, except 4/1 session which will be held in Room 3.  They are free to current full-time and adjuncted faculty at Saint Rose and other area colleges.
