Student Award Winners
Burton-Biagiotti Service Award
This award, established by the family of Domenico Biagiotti in honor
of his teacher, Sister Agnes Rose Burton, recognizes the senior
History and Political Science major who, over the years, has sustained
an exemplary record of public service in support of the department,
student affairs, the college, and the community at large.

Sr. Rosaleen Gilroy Award
The Sr. Rosaleen Gilroy Award goes to the student major with the
highest grade point average cumulatively and in any of the three
academic programs sponsored by the department of History and Political
Science.

Outstanding Seniors
The Outstanding Senior award recognizes the scholarly achievements
of students in each of the three programs sponsored by the department
of History and Political Science: History, Political Science, and
Social Studies 7-12. To be eligible for this award, students must
have a proven
record of academic leadership and a grade point average of 3.5 both
in their respective majors and in their cumulative undergraduate
curriculum.
